Saeed bin Suroor trained First View (3-1) carrying 10st 2lbs won the Leicester Racecourse C4 Handicap over 1m, under 5lbs claimer Christian Howarth, gaining a 2 1/2 lengths win ahead of 2-1 favourite He’s A Gentleman.
Hollie Doyle rode Basholo (15-2) trained by Stella Barclay to victory in the Leicester Racecourse Conferences and Events Handicap over 5 furlongs, gaining a short head verdict over Miss Belladonna.
Selection, Portelet Bay (3-1) under Hollie Doyle was thwarted to complete a fromthehorsesmouth.info treble, when going under by a nose in the Class 6 June 23 Handicap over 5f, behind winner Super Julius (28-1).
The Boolaboss and Wild Max fromthehorsesmouth.info 16-1 Worcester double
SEAN Bowen rode fromthehorsesmouth.info tip The Boola Boss (10-1) to victory in the Amodil Group Novices Handicap Chase over 2m 7f at Worcester’s evening meeting on Saturday.
Rebecca Curtis trained six-year-old The Boola Boss, carrying 11st 11lbs, was pushed along over four furlongs out, making a slight mistake three out, keeping well on to lead, gaining a photo finish short head verdict over Great D’Ange.
Paul Nicholls trained Wild Max (8-15) completed the double, when landing the C3 Amodil Supplies Ltd Novices Handicap Chase over 2m.
Seven-year-old Wild Max, under Harry Cobden, led four out to go on to win by an emphatic 40 lengths ahead of Ragamuffin.
