Juddmonte-owned Masen tipped by fromthehorsesmouth.info won the Listed Knockaire Stakes over 7 furlongs at Leopardstown on Saturday – the first leg of a 15-1 double.

Ger Lyons trained Masen (2-1) made all in impressive style to beat Njord by 2 1/4 lengths, with San Andreas a further 1 1/4 lengths behind, third, in the 16 runners field.

Masen was winning for a third time from six runs and Ger Lyons brother and assistant Shane said: “He’s still a work in progress – we’re really looking forward to him having a nice winter, where he can mature mentally.

“If he winters well – there’s no reason why he shouldn’t – we think he’ll be a very good horse.

“We think the world of him. Every race that he’s run, he’s shown a bit of class and he’s improved with every race.

“We’re really looking forward to next year and he’s a proper horse in the making.”

Tudor City (4-1) tipped by fromthehorsesmouth.info won the Ardilea Handicap over 1m 2f under Billy Lee, gaining a half length victory over Dublin Journal, with Pachmena third, in the 20 runners field.

Esculenta (5-1) tipped each-way finished third. Selection Anchorage (11-1) finished second, as did Sir Antonio.

At Galway Colonel Mustard (5-6) tipped to win, landed the Maiden Hurdle under Conor Orr, with 40-1 shot Champagne Vacation second and Harry Alonzo, third.

Glenquin Castle (9-4) completed a fromthehorsesmouth.info 5-1 double in winning the Colm Quinn BMW Handicap Hurdle under MP Walsh.

Halligator (6-1) tipped each-way finished second in the 2 miles Flat race, behind Da Capo Glory.

At Chelmsford tip, John and Thady Gosden trained Emblem Empire (10-11) won the 1m 2f Novice Stakes.

Luxembourg (4-6) and Flaming Rib (13-8) returned a fromthehorsesmouth.info 4-1 double at Doncaster. Dakota Gold (9-2) tipped each-way finished third in the Virgen Bet 5f Handicap.

At Newbury Roger Charlton trained Jumbly (9-4) ridden by Hollie Doyle and Queenlet (2-1) under Tom Marquand, returned a fromthehorsesmouth.info 9-1 double.

Nicky Richards trained Nells Son (11-10) won the National Hunt Maiden Hurdle over 2m at Kelso.

Curramore (7-4) completed a fromthehorsesmouth.info 5-1 double, when landing the 2m Handicap Hurdle, under Ryan Mania.

Liffeydale Dreamer (11-2) tipped each-way finished third in the William Hill Conditional Jockeys Handicap Hurdle over 3m 1f, under Tom Midgley.
