- McCain-Barrichello-Cenotice Newcastle double

Donald McCain jnr is hoping for success at Newcastle’s seven racecard meeting on Saturday with Barrichello and Cenotice.
Barrichello (1.35) has an impressive CV, notching up three wins from four outings, set to add to the tally in the Vertem Class 3 Novices Hurdle over 2m, with Peter Cavanagh in the saddle.
Cenotice (2.10) who finished second at Ludlow this month, having won at Newcastle in January, is tipped to land the C4 Vertem Novices Handicap Chase over 2m, with Theo Gillard (3) up.
Jedd O’Keeffe saddles Fairfield Ferrata (2.45) ridden by Connor O’Farrell, selected by fromthehorsesmouth.info to win the Vertem EBF Mares NH C4 Novices Hurdle over 2m 4f.
Achille (3.15) trained by Venetia Williams and ridden by Hugh Nugent is tipped each-way at 14-1 in the Vertem Eider C2 Handicap Chase over 4m 1f.
Twelve-year-old Achille, carrying 11st 3lbs, ran seventh in a G3 over 3m 5f last month, under 11st 8lbs.
Emma Lavelle trained Eclair Surf, is worthy of each-way support in the 17 runners field.
Nicky Richards saddles six-year-old Soft Risk (3.50) under Sean Quinlan, tipped to win the C2 Vertem Handicap Hurdle over 2m, to follow-up four consecutive wins, three being in C4 races.
Debece (4.25) trained by Dan Skelton and ridden by David England is selected to land the Vertem C3 Handicap Chase over 2m 4f.
Eleven-year-old Bestiarius (5.00) trained by G Boanas and ridden by Tom Midgley is tipped each-way in the Vertem Conditional Jockeys Handicap Hurdle over 2m.
Bestiarius finished fifth of 12 at Doncaster over 2m this month, having lead until three out, and fading on the Flat.
