Dr Zempf tipped by fromthehorsesmouth.info landed the 2,000 Guineas Listed Trial Stakes at Leopardstown on Saturday.
Ger Lyons trained headline tip, well-backed three-year-old Dr Zempf (11-10f) ridden by Colin Keane, stayed on well to beat Aidan O’Brien trained The Acropolis 12-1, by 1/2 length, with New Energy 11-2, third.
Noel Meade trained Hotel Wren (8-1) landed the Leopardstown Flat Maiden over 1 mile, gaining a short head victory over Janoobi, with selection Joseph O’Brien trained Point Gellibrand (13-8f) third.
Onemorefortheroad (4-1) tipped to win the Ayr Coral Scottish Grade 2 Champion Hurdle ran third, won by Anna Bunina (6-1) ahead of 5-2 favourite West Cork, ridden by Harry Skelton.
*Speech Bubble (2.45) selection, was a non-runner in the BetVictor Mares Novices Hurdle at Newbury, won by Largy G (14-1) beating 9-4 favourite Nina The Terrier by 1 length.
